Green Hat Electronics hosts electronics recycling and secure document shredding events on Saturdays and Sundays. The responsibility of scheduling, promoting, setting up and executing the event lies solely on our shoulders. Green Hat Electronics hosts events in the parking lots of schools, churches and non-profit organizations. Currently, we are in the process of filling out our 2016 event calendar.
It is our goal to provide necessary and responsible document shredding services and electronics disposal opportunities to the residents of San Diego County.
The majority of the responsibility lies on our shoulders. When you collaborate with Green Hat Electronics, we invest in promoting the event, setting it up, providing the personnel, and making sure your electronics recycling event is successful. Once the event is completed, we do all the clean up as well as calculating how much money your fundraiser made. For providing the venue, your organization’s portion of the funds raised are as followed:
.05¢ Per Pound of Electronics Recycled
15% of Paper Revenue Collected
100% of Donations Collected By the Organization
In most cases, an organization that hosts a Green Hat Electronics disposal and document shredding service event can expect to make anywhere between $800-$1,250.
What Green Hat Electronics Needs from You
If you’re interested in hosting an electronic recycling & disposal event, we request minor involvement from our collaborators. For starters, we require a confirmed calendar date that your property’s parking lot will be available. In addition, assistance in promoting the electronics disposal event to increase awareness in your community. Neither of these requirements will cost you anything, we provide all the necessary promotional materials. And of course, any participation your organization can contribute on the day of the event will ensure that document shredding services and electronics recycling goes as smooth as possible!
